GSUK holds joint freshers’ day

Gorkha Students’ Union, Kohima (GSUK) organized its 22nd joint freshers’ day programme on August 3 at Gorkha Public Panchayat Hall, Chadmari, Kohima. 
The occasion was graced by 19 AR, Major RB Thapa as the chief guest also saw presence of distinguished guests from various parts of Nagaland including president of Nagaland Gorkha Association Nabin Pradhan, General Secretary of Nagaland Gorkha Association PK Thapa, President of Gorkha Public Panchayat Santu Thapa, and General Secretary of Gorkha Youth Organisation, Chumukedima, Prabhat.  
Mr. and Miss Freshers of the community were conferred on Ramu Thapa of Science College, Jotsoma, and Santoshi Pradhan of Mount Olive College, Kohima. Gorkha joint freshers’ day is held annually in Kohima by Gorkha Students’ Union Kohima (GSUK) to congratulate, encourage and to give due recognition to all the successful Gorkha students.
