NPF (Noke) press and media cell has accused “ the minority chief minister T.R. Zeliang” of indulging in horse trading by trying to lure MLAs with ministerial berths and lucrative portfolios besides offering them with “huge amounts of money to switch sides and extend support to him.”
NPF press and media cell, alleged that T.R. Zeliang has “even engaged armed personnel and anti-social elements to threaten MLAs with dire consequences, if they do not support his leadership.” It said such approach in running the affairs of the government, would only give rise to corruption, poor governance and adversely impact growth and development.
The media cell said when the state was “burning with law and order problem, the so-called leaders of the regional party” were in Delhi, trying to convince “central leaders and leaders of national parties on their position.” It said the so-called regional party leaders have “discovered high commands in Delhi” while maintaining that people was their real high command. Media cell asserted that despite majority of MLAs not supporting him, T.R. Zeliang “shamelessly continues to occupy the chair of chief minister” and that it was nothing but “murder of democracy” and against the principles and culture of Nagas.
