C-Edge College launches ‘Mission green’

Eco-Club of C-Edge College has launched “Mission Green” on April 10 with technical expert on Climate Change Adaptation- North Eastern Region (CCA-NER), Ango Konyak, as the special guest. In the programme, Konyak emphasized on the environmental peril due to climate change and also highlighted its impact on Nagaland.  In the coming months, Ango Konyak would be the guide for the “Mission Green” volunteers through training and workshops, the college management said in a press statement.  C-Edge College principal, Dr. Chubatola Aier, in her welcome address, stated that “Mission Green” would be one of the most important activities of the college. She said “Mission Green” would be purely voluntary based adding its members would be known as the “Green Volunteers.”
