Director Sainik Welfare & Resettlement Nagaland, Brig KK Roy Choudhury, SM, VSM (Retd) has intimated to all concerned that all ex – servicemen and dependants are required to obtain Aadhar Cards which is mandatory requirement for all ex-servicemen as per definition of Ministry of Defence irrespective of pensioners or non – pensioners in order to avail any financial assistance from Kendriya Sainik Board, Directorate General Resettlement and Ministry of Defence (MOD).
All pensioners and family pensioners have been requested to obtain Digital Life Certificate (JeevanPramaan) by September 30 as the MOD has made it compulsory for all Defence Pensioners.
It has been emphasized that all grants/schemes, pension issues and increase of pension after 7th Pay Commission will be linked through Aadhar Cards and DLC.
Ex – servicemen and dependants have been informed that it is imperative for all to obtain Aadhar Card and for pension to obtain DLC by September 30 to facilitate action by RSB/ZSBs respectively.
All ex-servicemen, widows and dependants have been requested to obtain Aadhar Card and DLC by furnishing details of PPO No, Bank Acct No, Mob No, NOK details, Aadhar Card No etc. to their respective ZilaSainik Welfare Offices.
