Lotha Students Union (LSU) has appreciated and extended support to the indefinite bandh on goods carrier vehicle by All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA) Wokha at Wokha-Merapani Road.
In a press note, LSU president, Lipemo M Tsopoe and general secretary, Ashanthung Humtsoe, has also expressed concern over the pathetic road condition at Wokha-Merapani.
The union has asked PWD to repair the road and make necessary arrangement so that vehicles could ply the road at the earliest.
LSU has also requested Doyang Hydro Electric Project (DHEP) North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) to assist with machineries for clearing landslide.
The union has also requested C.S Infra Pvt. Ltd to complete the survey and start the work at the earliest on Wokha-Merapani road.
It has appealed the concern contractor to start the N.H 2 road at the earliest.
