Tikhir Baptist Youth Endeavour (TBYE) celebrated its 25th year “Silver Anniversary” from June 2 – 4 at mission centre Tikhir Baptist Biti Atukianti (TBBA), Anatongre under the theme, “Follow Christ and Transform People”.
A press release from TBBA executive secretary, Rev. M. Shiuto and youth secretary, Y. Tsusuthong stated that secretary, USBLA sub-centre Kiphire, Dr. Apise, spoke on the theme; District Program Officer (DPO) Kiphire, Tsiatsuvi, gave a seminar on “Sensitization on health related issues and its impact on the youth” specifically focused on HIV/AIDs control; executive secretary TBBA, Rev. M. Shiuto spoke on “Be matured in Christ”; while youth secretary TBBA, Y. Tsusuthong spoke on “Ignite your Passion for God”.
The whole session was presided over by T. Shumong Tikhir and Alemshi. The program concluded with a prayer by Rev. M. Shiuti. There was also an exposure event where youth from various Churches displayed their God-given talents through songs, plays and dances.
