Motor vehicles department has informed that all trucks from Dimapur to Kohima and beyond were required to obtain a load compliance certificate from the weighbridge at the District Trasport Office ISTT Complex, Chumukedima. In a press release, district transport officer (DTO) Dimapur, Lovikali Yepthomi, stated that trucks plying without the certificate would not be allowed to cross the Chumukedima Check-gate.
The department has advised that goods carriers comply with the permissible loads allowed as per their respective permits to avoid unnecessary delays.
