Deputy Commissioner Kohima Rajesh Soundararajan has informed all landowners and beneficiaries (as submitted in the list) affected by the construction/improvement of the Botsa-Ziezou-New Ralan-Bokajan Road between km 20:500 to km 35:500 (Sector-III), Kohima District that additional compensation for damaged land shall be paid at the Conference Hall of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on September 26, 11 am onwards.
The DC in a release has directed the chairmen of the concerned villages to be present physically for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during the disbursal of cheques, failing which payment shall be withheld.
All affected landowners, beneficiaries were also informed to bring along two recent passport size photos (not scanned). Payment to any representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained.
