The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Zunheboto, held a District Vector Borne and District Aids Program Control Unit review meeting at the CMO’s office on March 13.
A press release from District Media Officer, CMO office, Zunheboto, Shekho Sophie, stated that deputy CMO, Dr. K. Akaho Sema, in his key note address urged staff to do away with the practice of casual and under reporting. He further motivated health workers to honestly and sincerely perform their duties. He also encouraged the workers to improve their performances, targets and monthly reporting.
NVBDCP consultant, Mudosayi Huire, highlighted staff performances and gave a presentation on the projected epidemiology of the district. The presentation included discussion about plans and the vision for malaria elimination in the district.
DPO-DAPCU, Hokishe, challenged all the participants to perform their duties diligently. SMI-DVBO, Hekuto Zhimo, chaired the meeting.
