Phek District Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union (PDCSU) has temporarily revoked the entry ban on Anuj Misra, member of Ramky project Ltd and DPM of Madhucon project Ltd w.e.f June 27, 2019. Holding Misra responsible for the failure of the two-lane project under Gayatri Maytas in Phek district, PDCSU had banned him from entering Phek district.
In a press release, PDCSU president Kuzhoseyi Soho Alex and general secretary Razouvezo Lohe said the decision to revoke ban was taken in the interest of all stakeholders and as per the request of the nine villages chairman’s forum 2 lane road construction from Pfutsero-Phek via Porba-Sakraba- Pholami-Khomi and Losami.
PDCSU has, however, stated that the union would continue to oversee the ongoing project works with cooperation from all.
If the project failed and the “quality of the work is not up to the date”, PDCSU expressed hope that nine villages chairman’s forum would not back away from taking the responsibility.
