ANTPEUU conducts online video conference

All Nagaland Trained Physical Education Unemployed Union (ANTPEUU) conducted an online general meeting via video conference on July 16, to discuss various health issues, the anxiety and stress and importance of physical fitness. 

A press release from ANTPEUU stated that, during the conference discussion was focused on coping with the pandemic situation, staying safe and following the right protocol and maintaining a healthy hygiene, where health education and physical education can be the main tool towards the preparation of an individual’s immunity against this virus.  The union also requested the Youth Resource and Sports department to work hand in hand with School Education department in identifying young talents in the field of sports at the early age. Union also encouraged all the physical teachers and physical students to stay physically active and keep imparting the reliable knowledge through online teaching, both practical and theory. It also pointed out that physical education degree course was also a technical course equivalent to undergoing many higher degree courses like MBBS or Engineering. 

The conference also urged the unemployed trained physical education teachers who are on the verge of overage to stay fit by keeping in touch with physical activity and maintaining a positive mindset. 

Union also said that it would conduct activities related to physical education in the coming days and to promote physical education through proper channels.
