One person was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred near the District Transport Office (DTO) in Chümoukedima on Wednesday. According to Traffic Police source, two motorcycles collided near DTO, causing one of the riders to be thrown under a moving dumper. The victim sustained serious injuries and is reported to be in critical condition.
Both individuals involved in the accident were immediately rushed to the Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) for treatment. Sources disclosed that both riders were non-Naga, and residents of Chümoukedima. Further, investigation is underway.
