The Department of Power, Nagaland, has announced a scheduled vegetation clearance and maintenance program for the 132kV Wokha-Philimi Transmission line under Kohima Transmission Division. The activity is set to take place on May 5 and 6, from 8 AM to 4 PM daily.
In a press release, executive engineer, Transmission Division Kohima, Er. Namheu Khate Zeliang informed that the purpose of the maintenance is to ensure stable power supply and avoid disruptions caused by vegetation interference.
Consequently, power supply will be completely shut down during the mentioned hours to facilitate smooth execution of the task. Consumers and residents in the affected areas have been requested to cooperate with the department during the shutdown.
