Dimapur: To mark World Hypertension Day, the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Mokokchung, conducted a special screening drive for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) on May 20. The event took place at the DC office, District Court, Food and Civil Supplies, and District Agriculture Office in Mokokchung.
During the drive, free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were provided, along with leaflets on NCD awareness.
The screening was led by Dr. Limanaro (DPO, UIP & RCH), along with NCD staff and IEC personnel. The department will continue this special drive until June 16, 2025, covering government offices and public places.
